Kitty Clutter

Christmas Time

and I received a few more cat things

Moorhen having trouble

Moorhen is a daily visitor. He has some seed with the pheasants, then has a bath in the water bowl. Today he had trouble with a new female pheasant. She hadn't seen him before, and decided she didn't like him. She stopped him taking a bath, but he returned later when she was not looking.

Whizzy Whizz Chillin'

Reclining on the reclining chair!

Rolly

Rolly looking very innocent....like he never does anything naughty. He never waits behind the door to pounce on any other cat coming in. He never blocks the cat flap with his enormous bulky frame. He never sneaks up behind Max, because Max is deaf and that wouldn't be very nice!

Rolly examining a fly

Candy, the only one of the four I have had since a kitten, and the only female.

She's about 15 years old. She hates Max, but quite likes Whiskers.

Rolly

Rolly wandered down from the farm up the road, seeking food! He likes to think he's the boss cat.

Max

Max has arthritis and is totally deaf. He somehow walked from a row of cottages two miles away to my house. He must have crossed a stream by going over the main road bridge. He came through my cat flap and went to sleep on a bench. I knew where he came from so I returned him, only for him to repeat the journey the next day.

I returned him again, this time with a handful of cat biscuits. It was Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning he was back on the bench in my kitchen looking very pleased with himself.

He was not settled in his previous home and had been sleeping outdoors. His owner agreed he could stay with me, and he's been here for five years now.

Whiskers

Dozing on top of the wardrobe

Whiskers, also known as Whizz or Whizzy-Whizz depending on how fast he is going. He turned up as a young tom, very scared and hungry in April 2007. By November he had been neutered and was living with the rest of the gang.
