Aquilegia flowering where last years seeds have fallen, growing amongst wild campion which is abundant this year. It may be considered a weed by some, but the bright pink campion flowers look as pretty as any cultivated flower to me.

Whiskers Comes Home

Whiskers jumped through the cat flap at 8.30 pm Sunday May 3rd. and did not come back. I have spent the last 10 days walking across fields both day and night calling him, putting leaflets through doors and asking people to check sheds. When I had just about given up hope a psychic lady told me he was still alive and close by. More hunting and calling followed, but yesterday he just walked through the door, meiowing very loudly. He was thirsty and hungry, and making lots of noise. He has had bad dreams, waking up suddenly and crying loudly, but he is settling down again now. I think he was shut in somewhere near by, but I will never know for sure.
